One of my favourite artists, Maxfield Parrish, created the design for this whimsical quilt in 1904. A kaleidoscope effect is obtained by repeating the pattern around a central circle of four yellow balls. Stripped Zebras add vibrant support to tumbling acrobats and chubby clowns. French blue, teal, cream, poppy red, black, white and primrose yellow all contribute to this Circus conundrum.
